Tokyo said its intelligence service believed a launch could come “in the next few days,” in a forecast that proved to be correct.

One Japanese official said intercepted radio signals indicated that a test was imminent.

The Kyodo news agency said the detection had been confirmed by government officials. “There is a possibility of missiles launches in the next few days,” said one official quoted by the news agency. [source]
