ICE officers told to warn city officials days before they arrest illegal aliens — who are gone by the time officers arrive

A new website ostensibly launched by current Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents [here] claims that ICE agents working in the Salt Lake City, Utah, region must first alert city officials before they arrest suspected illegal immigrants.

Agents working in the region claim they are under “secret orders” that require them to provide names and addresses of criminals and fugitives they seek to arrest so that prior notice can be provided to city officials before ICE agents entering the city make arrests.

The report says agents typically have to wait seven days before getting “permission” to enter the city — Park City, Utah.

The new policy was put in place by ICE managers said to be left over from the Obama administration.

Officers claim that by the time they get permission to move on the aliens, everyone they sought to arrest is gone — criminals and fugitives are “magically disappearing,” according to some.

The policy is said to be incredibly frustrating to agents.

Said one, according to the report: “Seven days prior notice is unheard of. On what planet is it considered effective law enforcement policy to wait seven days to arrest an at-large criminal who could kill someone while we twiddle our thumbs waiting on city politicians to give us permission to make an arrest? The American public should be outraged, city mayors and police chiefs are now controlling federal agents and their federal arrest mission.”
