Things are getting dicey. Have you (Sam) been following any of the Oathkeeper traffic concerning the riots in the large cities? It appears that their are Soros backed organizations trying to foment revolution on college campuses ie Berkeley. One email i recieved via Oathkeepers mentioned the presents of a Phoenix P.D officer at a O.K meeting who was not their representing the P.D but as a concerned officer. This all came to my attention as I will be in Phoenix for the next 2 weeks and am concerned about the safety of my wife and I. Your thoughts on this would be much appreciated.
I just listened to this podcast and I have a suggestion to make. Any march/gathering that has a permit, the permitting officials will request amateur radio volunteer support.
The local radio club will setup a radio net with a net control to coordinate all radio traffic to forward real-time info to the local incident command. If anybody with a scanner is within 20-30 miles of the repeater they will be able to listen in. You won’t be tied to personnel with cell phones to get real time info on the situation.
