I think that the hard thing with relying on historical data is that history has never really seen a matrix like we have now and no one really knows what will happen, or what we should do or be doing.
I do agree that things are different in different areas and that there is an underlying theory of what has historically worked. However, there has never been a spy grid like there is now. There has never been global selective prosecution and extra judicial rendition or execution like there is now.
It is important for freedom loving people to collectively look for solutions and execute them even if they don’t particularly work at all or that well. The point is to try.
