– We the People, a White House petition platform started by the Obama administration in 2011, currently has a petition urging the president to declare Antifa a domestic terrorist organization. Started on Thursday, the petition now has over 237,000 signatures demanding action on Antifa. The number of petitioners meets the threshold for an official response from the White House. I wouldn’t get your hopes up that any real action is taken or response is made, especially considering who’s left in the White House. [petition]
– According to an interview with Army sources, Army Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Milley is pushing electronic warfare (EW) capabilities down to the platoon level. Although a complete review of capability gaps won’t be ready until late this year or early next year, this decision is in direct response to Russian EW capabilities, which currently outpace the U.S. Army, and it follows a larger pattern of better equipping Army units with cyber and electronic warfare capabilities. – Ulchi Freedom Guardian kicked off on Monday, with U.S. and South Korean military units wargaming an invasion of North Korean troops. Yesterday, North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un warned that he would turn the U.S. into “a heap of ashes”. This follows similar threats in previous years during this same military exercise. [source]
