– Over the weekend, violence broke out at the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, VA. According to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), law enforcement received a stand down order, which barred them from protecting the rally goers as fights broke out between Antifa and the right wing. A vehicle later struck several protestors, killing one, in what appears to be a case of politically motivated violence. Reactions on social media move the sentiment among Left wing groups to supporting more violence, and Saturday’s events significantly increase the risk of violence, to include the potential for additional fatalities, for future events.
