California police officer accused of targeting Alt-Left victims

Sacramento, CA:

California Highway Patrol officer Donovan Ayres admitted in court that he targeted the antifascist members involved in a violent altercation at an Alt-Right event in Sacramento but failed to investigate the Alt-Right members involved.  Reports submitted by the officer show that he advocated for the Alt-Right members to not face any criminal charges while filing warrants to investigate the social media accounts of the Alt-Left members.  The altercation included multiple stabbings and beatings of counter-protesters at the Alt-Right rally on 26 June 2016.  (SOURCE:
