American Redoubt:
15 FEB (WY): An underground oil pipeline east of Gilette, WY began leaking Sunday afternoon, allowing an undetermined amount of oil to flow into a seasonal creek bed and through a culvert under the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Orin rail line.
17 FEB (OR): The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Oregon said investigators now suspect that a six-person crew based on the East Coast stole the personal information of more 250,000 people — including 40,500 Oregonians — from Oregon-based background check company CICS Employment Services. Investigators believe the scheme generated $4.7 million in profits from at least April 2013 to May 2015.
The group obtained the names, addresses and Social Security numbers of 83,000 people — including , by targeting a database owned by CICS Employment Services, a Lincoln City background-check company.

15 FEB: An explosion at a SouthCross Energy gas plant in Frio County shut down FM 1538 and Highway 85 and forced an evacuation in the area. Two were injured.
